Please SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CONTINUING YOUR EDUCATION AS WE MOVE FORWARD THROUGH THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.
I WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE OFTEN WITH INFORMATION ON HOW TO ACCESS OTHER ONLINE OPTIONS THAT I WILL BE USING AS A FORM OF TEACHING/TUTORING/ASSISTING YOU AS WE MOVE FORWARD THROUGH THIS TIME.
UPDATED: 5/7/20
Office hours: M-F 11AM-1PM
Reminder! Packet #2 is due Friday, May 8th
If you need an extension, contact me by remind or email.
Update: The last page in the part of the packet titled "Household Hazards" asks students to come up with analogies for the types of chemical reactions (synthesis/composition, decomposition, single replacement, and double replacement).
Honors chemistry students: watch the video (link below) and make up an analogy that is DIFFERENT than the ones demonstrated in the video. Post your analogies in google classroom or email me the completed assignment.
Standard chemistry students: you do not have to make your own analogy as this paper outlines; HOWEVER, I would like you to watch the video on youtube (link below) and write a summary of the video answering the following questions. Post your answers in google classroom or email me the completed assignment.
1. What did you learn?
2. What concepts were made clearer to you after you watched the video?
3. Why are they now more understandable?
4. How awesome would it be if Mrs. Lewis had that kind of equipment in our PCHS lab?!?!
